Internship Opportunities

Thank you for expressing interest in the Republican National Committee (RNC) Internship Program. The RNC is always looking for interested undergraduate students to serve as interns at our headquarters in Washington, DC.

Internships are available within each of our divisions:

Chairman’s Office
Work alongside staff directly serving Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.

Co-Chairman’s Office
Work alongside staff directly serving Co-Chair Bob Paduchick.

Constituent Services
Work alongside staff handling spoken and written correspondence with voters and outside organizations.

Counsel’s Office
Work alongside staff responsible for legal and administrative procedures.

Data
Work alongside staff responsible for the voter file and predicative modeling for elections.

Digital
Work alongside staff responsible for online fundraising, testing and analytics, graphic design, and digital content across gop.com and social media channels.

Finance
Work alongside staff responsible for fundraising initiatives and donor relations.

Human Resources/Personnel
Work alongside staff responsible for administrative and accounting procedures.

IT/Network Operations
Work alongside staff responsible for facilitating and maintaining technological needs and network safety.

Member Services
Work alongside staff directly serving the 168 members governing the RNC.

Political
Work alongside staff responsible for the national field program, strategic initiatives, and GOTV programs.

Press Office
Work alongside staff responsible for strategic messaging, print media, radio-television bookings, and the GOP-TV film studio.

Research
Work alongside staff responsible for producing and housing research on past and current events.

Software Engineering/Technology
Work alongside staff responsible for building and maintaining multiple large-scale web applications, web service APIs and data warehouses that help reach tens of millions of users nationwide.

Application Deadlines (Spring, Summer and Fall) Applications for both spring and fall are accepted on a rolling basis and there is no official deadline. However, in order to ensure a timely review of your application materials, we recommend you submit your application materials early.

The RNC’s Summer Internship Program is the Eisenhower Intern Program. This is a structured, full-time paid internship and space is limited. The deadline for submitting application materials is Friday, February 9, 2018. The 2018 Eisenhower Intern Program will run from May 30, 2018 until August 3, 2018.

Application Requirements The RNC’s internship program is for undergraduate students and preference is given to juniors and seniors.
